Saying that he's saying the war is a good thing and it's going to end but really he's just saying what people want to hear even if it's not the truth.
The whole "between the resurrection and the prophecy unborn" thing does make it sound pretty religious but the ressurection could be the resurrection of a nation and the prophecy unborn could be about how the war was seen as a good thing but we haven't seen the good side of it yet.
