This song (my favorite on the new CD) is about how Ace came so close to giving up until he realized just how much everyone means to him. In this song, he expresses how The Early November is his life. He needs to hear some 'deep end,' (Sergio, bass player) and some slide guitar (Bill or Joe, guitarists) and some drums crackin' (Jeff, drummer), and he'll feel alright. There are other references in the song (People he works for, his love and new wife, Jennifer Enders, etc.).
In all, this song is about how Ace came to realize how, in the midst of overpowering and overwhelming stress, he just needs these people. He plainly states this in the last line of the song.
