This is one of my all time FAVORITE Jimmy Buffett songs.
At one time, this was my song.
It's basically saying that this couple has not had it easy in the past, and that one has made mistakes and believes that it can still work, but they just have to try a little harder, just like they always have.
There is also a looking back on memories, and saying that they'll do anything to make it right, and make it work.
