I think the whole "But you can't judge a book Looking at the cover" could be refering more to the war in the Middle East and how, to some people, we went there for more of stereotyping reasons. Just how some people assume that if someone is one race they're one way.
Still going with the anti-war thing, but more of a reason as to why they could be anti-war.
