this is such a beautiful song. she played it tonight and it seriously was so incredible. i'm not sure about the whol "everybody's not so nice" part... but the rest reminds me of getting out of a small town to go to a bigger city. it's scary to leave everything you know behind, especially when you're from a small town. i am and when i left it felt like i was leaving my own little world and rejoining with the rest of the world. those people were like family to me, knew me from birth... i suppose you could say they had a part in making me who i am. i don't know if that's way off...but it's a thought. anyone care to add??
