Obviously there are several ways to interpret it, but I don't think it's about love. The little boy who spoke like a man was just a little boy, I think. It reminds me of that kid that was on ophrah and all that stuff, that wrote uplifting poetry and all. He was like 12 or so and died of some disease. I think she witnessed a young man dying and then realized what life really was. The last lines "you'll rise above the sea of doubts
into a world full of clouds" is a goodbye to him.
