Thanks. I guess this was a well deserved tantrum. I've had them myself. Of course he was exaggerating--I don't feel I was THAT critical--good grief! Someone could hex me for being so hard to please but looks can deceive and I was wearing the honest tongue! I swear--if anyone wants to get on me for this--they can borrow the honest tongue with my compliments! Also there were times ... I don't think too many people have nice things to say when they have been betrayed. If you weren't such a smooth talker, your ears would still be burning, my fine friend. And it's tough to lay out how it was back then with any true accuracy. I'm better off just shuffling out to the doghouse.

Oh, come on. I can't win on this song. I didn't like the "she's too good for me". I didn't take it as the slur I might have. I objected to the isolation it suggested. She's too good for me. No one wants someone who's too good for others.
