hey guys. not really a big afi fan (havent heard enough to call myself a fan i dont think) but i really like this song.
while i have only read the 1st page of comments...anyone thought that it may be about someone losing a father ("Dreams of his crash won't pass Oh, how they all adored him) and maybe an issue with the will (Ever searching for what we were promised Reaching for that golden ring we'd never let go But who would ever let us put their filthy hands upon it?) and the beauty
could be the normality before the death??
i dont know much about the band or their songwriting style but could this be a possibility?
great song though. had to ask so many people what it was cos the radio station i heard it on plays lots of good music without mentioning song names or artists so they can play more good music.
