I agree with Mr.Me to a point. I definately don't think it's about betrayel but burning desire. Not a crush though, but for a former lover in a too-good-to-be-true relationship. The returning part is more obvious with lines like "When are you coming back?" and "Bird on a branch will come back home to sing." My insinuation that it's just too good comes from the lines about him wanting to "bust the clouds," "drifting overhead," and "grass on your back been hanging in the air." She's got her head in the clouds and he wants her to come back down to earth, to him.
