In The Midnight Hour

I always thought of it as a cracking song and its seen as one of the classics/standards. Then I heard that its actually about the guy waiting in a car with his girl on the eve of her 16th birthday, waitin for midnight, so then its legal for him to get his end away. Now reading the full lyric, I'd say it was correct.
