What a great tune this is. This track is on the Verve Ep which came out back in 92. Its a shame that alot of the comments made on The Verve songs are focused on the lead singles of Urban Hymns. Don't get me wrong I love that album and it is there best work and most mainstream effort, but alot of there earlier work goes unappreciated. There are some real good pyscedelic tunes on the earlier stuff and some killer guitar played by the underated Nick Mccabe. As for this tune well it proberly about a godly figure which sometimes shines on you and sometimes it doesn't. When it does you feel good about yourself and confident, when it disappears you go back into your shell.
