Obviously this song is about being on the moon. But I think it's seen from the perspective of a child and how they would view being on the moon (jumping around, rock candy, all fun). Incidently the song that preceeds this one on To Our Childrens Childrens Children is The Eyes of a Child (With the eyes of a child you must come out and see...).
@Digi-G The album was released in January of 1969 and the Moon landing was in July. The song was about a future where you could vacation on the Moon. Some coincidence, though.
