I love how she sounds kinda removed from the situation, as if she's numb from all that's going on. she's in a relationship with a guy who is emotionally distant, seemingly heartless....and he disappears without a word, and she's left alone, without a clue as to where he's gone. she says she'll always be around, he can have the freedom he wants, but at the same time she recognizes the fact that this guy not only sets himself up to fail, but failure also seems to be the only thing he really loves, if he is capable of loving anything at all.
