I have to disagree with you guys. I think it's about a guy who broke up with his girlfriend, and they both realize their feelings, and he's saying, "Let's go to the next step!" Apparently the girlfriend's boyfriend agrees because the lead singer points out: "He's right you know, we can't go on like this." That's my opinion though.
