My interpretation of the song then was: "The dream weaver would help me to fall asleep and then allow me to have dreams of futuristic depth and understanding.". I have a dog that I have to put to sleep this coming week, and the song now gives new meaning to me: (1) Help to fall asleep and not worry -let me dream positive dreams that will help both me and my dog. (2) "Fly me away to the bright side of the moon And meet me on the other side...": means that one day I will meet back up with my dog Flash and all will be bright again.
