Lush is such an under-rated band, they seriously rocked, well, most of the time... And this song is one of my favs considering it's such a good tune and the lyrics are also grrrl powered and so true.
And I read at wikipedia that the "blondie" part of this song was a response to a weezer song. Appearantly she dated the former Weezer bassist for a while which led to some ugly lyrics to a weezer song.
