i think its a really sad song...i don't know if its about a lost love..for me its about living ur day everyday more and less the same...u don't see a meaning in ur life...and u feel bad because of that; for instance when he sings always lying saying that you're fine...the person in the song feels insecure, alone..like he/she wouldn't exist-->you don't have a body...u r on ur own, without family or friends...
but i t also could be , it sounds strnage, about an immgrant who went to an other country looking for a etter life, but he end up without a job, alone and his family far away...so he tries his best speaking american and watching talkshows, because he has nothing to do...
