this song i feel means a few different things
1 - the way that men dont understand the way us girls work... 'we dont feel like girls do' and 'cursing the gender/cursing it for its temper'. this guys girl has got really angry with him, and he doesnt understand quite what the problem is - maybe the problem is this second reason...
'I wrote your name on the wall/with blood red aerosol...' and 'i carved your name on every tree/in the whole wide world...' i think this means that the guy wants everyone to know how much he loves this girl - he wants to tell everyone. But maybe she wants it kept a secret, or just doesnt want it broadcast everywhere. perhaps that is why he goes on to sing about invisible ink. I think he feels a bit bitter, maybe she is ashamed of him - but he wants everyone to know!
i think the last phrase could be a bit of a dig at the girl, he says he wont scream it out - altho he still loves her.
