I think this song is about a man who has met a girl who is different from all other girl's he's ever met. He thinks that he loves her but he doesn't know if he's ready to change. He's conflicted. What if he changes and it is not true love? Or what if he changes and it is true love? Will it be everything he thought it would be in his dreams? Either way, it's a bittersweet surrender. Should he surrender to love or should he surrender to Fear?
