I think what makes this song and her other great songs so good is that she isnt just straight forward like, "yeah my kid hates my boyfriend and I feel real bad", cos songs where people just whine about stuff kinda get old fast. Instead she tells it in story form, like with the little kid putting his trucks on the bed, she never says my kid is jelous of my BF, but her way makes it much more impacting, and it sort of just breaks your heart.
