To me, it seems like Dallas is telling how bad the world is today.

The first line of the song basically says that these girls are dressed up trying to look good. Unfortunatly, "good" these days means sexy. So all of these girls on MTV and VH1, how many of them do you actually see all covered up? Our little girls are seeing that and thinking, "wow, that's cool" so they want to be just like them.

wow... I am not sure how much more wrong you could get with that whole theory on what this song is about. First off they don't talk about new things. their whole band is like a theme about Ma Barker and her sons so I'm thinking this song is more about some of the barkers getting into drugs and hookers possibly

Actually, I think slick might have been pretty close.

"With track marks, painting such a pretty blue"

Track marks are the result of using needles to inject drugs. Wanting to be famous/beautiful/popular can be like a drug.

Either that, or it really is about drugs.
