Dolores's family life aside: About the time I first listened to this song, (2003) my 6th grade language arts and homeroom teacher was dying of cancer. I won't lie to you. After about two weeks, after she died, every time i heard this song, I could feel her presence nearby. It's a pretty ground shaking thing when your teacher dies right after you have her class. The "Bury the Hatchet" cd was really close to me because when I bought it I had so many demons in me and this whole album expressed that.
