i listened to this on repeat for pretty much 3 hours last night.
my friend had drank and even i had just a little, but not enough.
and then she held my dates hand. so i went outside to cry because i hate when people see me cry.
at the time this song made 100% sense.
"If you see these tears filling my eyes, it's just the wind that makes me cry."
that to me is just something you would say to someone if they saw you crying (ex: when you're crying during a sad movie and you say 'it's just allergies')
but in this long comment, the story of my life, and my little description of the meaning.. i think it could be referenced to more than just lovers. anyone who hurts someone while they're drinking and the other person is sensitive but doesn't want that one person to know how bad they hurt.
