I think it's to do with someone who has made a mistake and messed stuff up, they've lost their best friend because of this. They want to apologise and want second chances, but this isn't the first time. And that they are contemplating suicide in some parts. "This is my life support shutting down for the final time." They want to end the pain. But I don't know really, it's probably wrong but just a try.
