Just a random guess, but I think this song is speaking a metaphor for missing his girlfriend/wife. She's too busy doing her every day things, or maybe she's either in the police force, or even a doctor, and she's too busy to spend time with him. The line "I'll brush up on my super villains and i might see you more" really speaks to me, even though it's a metaphor, he's basically saying, he'd do anything to spend more time with her, even so much as to be a bad guy, so that when she comes to stop him from whatever villains get up to, he gets to be with her. This song really reminds me of my girlfriend, not in a bad way, she just got me listening to it, so when i hear it i think of her.
