I watched Bad Education tonight. It's a spanish movie, very interesting. It's about two boys who fell in love in Catholic school, one of them being abused by a priest. They were seperated by the priest, and in the future, the boy is a crossdresser, trying to get money to get the sex change after he goes to drug rehab. He writes a sort of memoir about his life and the school and then blackmails the priest, saying he needs a million dollars or he'll publish it. The priest (no longer a priest) ends up falling in love with Ignacio's (the crossdresser, name may not be correct, but it's close) younger brother Juan who starts a relationship with him. Ignacio is causing trouble with everyone, taking money, and Juan and the ex-priest finally decide to kill him. They do so with pure white heroin. Juan then pretends to be Ignacio and takes the story to the boy Ignacio was in love with in school, Enrique, and requests to make a movie out of it. In the book, there is a character Ignacio becomes, Zahara, who is his female form. Enrique is highly suspicious of Juan and doesn't fully believe he is Ignacio. Juan wants to play Zahara in his film, but Enrique says no. Enrique does some investigating and finds out Ignacio is dead and Juan has been impersonating. He doesn't tell him he knows and decides to shoot the film, because in Ignacio's last letter before his death he talks about how he'd love to see it on screen. They film the entire movie, adapting the end to where the priest actually does participate in Ignacio's on-screen death. The ex-priest sneaks onto the set, sees this, and talks to Enrique, confessing everything. The ex-priest finds Juan again and tells him he won't leave him alone. Juan threatens to kill him and then leaves with a wardrobe girl, who he later marries. He becomes very famous. Enrique is a successful director. The ex-priest is killed by Juan (under his acting name, Angel.)
