This song is amazingly touching...I don't know this guy very much, but this lyrics and his voice make it so special. To me (the way I relate to it) it's about a complex relationship...where both of them have been deceived by meaningless words. He feels like no matter what he says, the person won't give him a chance or won't even believe what he says. It's so hurting when you somehow 'know' that the relationship has no future because of what happened in the past. Just like in real life, it's not that easy to get a chance and try despite the differences...:(
