This song appeared as a bonus track on at least some versions of No Need To Argue in Australia.

I have two theories as to what it might be about.

The first is that it is a lament for the Troubles in Northern Ireland. A story of a woman whose young lover is killed in some sort of sectarian strife.

The other is that it is about a woman who has to leave Ireland to obtain and abortion. I'm not sure what the current state of the law is, but I recall several years ago there was a lot of discussion about abortion being illegal in Ireland, and Irish girls travelling to England or further afield for abortions. I think there was talk of Dutch medics setting up a ship off the Irish coast to provide the procedure.

It's quite possible that neither of these is correct, but either one could be.
