I'm not sure how everyone else feels... but have you ever met someone who made you feel so comfortable, that you felt like you were at home with them? That's what I think he's talking about. This woman, whoever she is, makes him feel at home even though he's 1000 miles away. And I totally agree with fireplace... definitely one of the most beautiful songs I have EVER heard!!!
