ok, what about when it says, "One day we'll drink to this and say, "Remember when we died... We went out in flames!"' what is this supposed to mean?? this is a christian band, and i'm a christian, too, i just don't understand it...

I'm not sure what "we went out in flames" is supposed to mean, but this is how I interpret the rest:
He's talking about making a toast to the time they "died"(when they gave up their sin).In the Bible it says to "take up your cross", that Christians are "dead to sin", and that you have to lose your life to gain it. You have to die to your old sinful self to be alive. So basically he's just saying, "One day we'll celebrate...
