Personally I think this may one of the best songs ever created. It is truly a beautiful message presented with some of the best vocals and beat. The way Chris articulates the lyrics and changes his pitches through the song is amazing.
The song meaning is pretty clear to me. it is about someone who loves another so much that their whole world revolves around that person."Heavens dead when you get sad" meaning when this person gets sad his whole world is down. He would do anything in his power to save this person from harm, also wouldd do anything to make them happy. It could be about basically anyone that you love so much, but I think it must be about a mate because he says "I wont lose sight of where I belong and where you lie" meaning he lies where this other peron lies, as in lives. My favorite part is definitely th end when he states "I’ll take it all, arrows or guns
