I believe this is song is a call for action. It is amazing and sickening to realize how the world is full with couch potatos who do nothing else than watch life pass by. Lots of us see or live injustice, violence, wrongfullness and do nothing about it. Those things have become so normal, that we have developed a sick tolerance towards them.
Boysetsfire yells at us: We should stand up. We should speak up. We should`nt see ourselves die tied up. We shouldnt be just visitors at our own burial. Life shouldnt be a requiem. We live in a world full of people, but still, we often fail to establish a connection with our next door neighbours, and we feel lonely.
