I thought that this song was almost like against God because God in some form could be a bright light and led him to where ever he is. And he is basically blaming God for what happened to him. Also, he states that he was on his knees, like when you praise and worship God you could be on your knees or whatever. So I think that this is practically against God, but I'm not sure it's just a guess.
