This is probably wrong, but this is how I see this song.
I think that this song is about hope and thinking really positively about things. It's maybe convincing herself that she needs to be patient, and it's about maybe how she is falling in love too fast, but she doesn't mind because she wants it to last. She has fallen fast and hard for someone and she knows that something good will happen, even though she can't see for sure that it will.
No matter what happens, things are going to be alright.
When she gets what she wants in the end, she knows that it will be great and everyhting that she could wish for.
I love this song so much, it really cheers me up and helps me look on the brighter side of things.
