This song was included on the soundtrack of the 2005 movie "Prime."
He originally wanted the song to be a narrative about a woman who was an "opium" addict in "Chinatown" who falls in love with a rich industrialist's son. But it wasn't working and so he decided to compose the song about himself, his own experiences.
New York imagery-- Chinatown, Bryant Park-- is obvious in this song. Rufus has said he hates peaches, actually, and that he prefers bananas. :P
