Apparently, according to a website I found that's devoted to the Guess Who, they were originally two seperate songs. Burton Cummings or somebody else had the bright idea to make the two songs one. It was a great move because the song is considered one their staple songs. I think both songs represent how the sexual revolution was affecting the relationships of the 60's and 70's. I'm not sure if that's correct, but it was worth a shot.
