The next verse follows the same format, except he doesn't scream at himself this time. Instead he challenges the whining side of him. "Come on, get up, let me see your bruises". He's like taunting himself. Obviously, he went through some tough times and he wants to show proof of how fucked up he is, but at the same time, he's attacking himself for even thinking about complaining.
