TREXOR, just because you don't like the album, that doesn't mean you are right in saying it is fake. Like any other Tool album, you need to listen to it a few times before it really grabs you. It isn't like most mainstream rock, where each song is instantly catchy. I didn't like it at first, but after a few listens, it is quickly growing on me. I admit it sounds a bit like Lateralus, but it's still good. Those things you posted on other pages would make a point if only:
1) a song called 'vanity' was on the radio right now
2) I WASN'T CURRENTLY LISTENING TO THE ALBUM
Yea, it's suspicious that the album was leaked early, but do you really think the band would record an entire FAKE album, just to fool some people? That's the biggest piece of negative publicity I've ever heard.
Why wouldn't it be good the first time? You have to look up the lyrics to understand them (albumin general, not this song), so you cant even say they suck due to lyrics being less, um, requiring of study. And it doesn't even sound different from other alternative, not in a bad way I mean. Godsmack uses tribal elements, but aside from thar and the purposeful "strangeness", if, basically, they liked the same kind of music but werent Tool and didn't use the uniqueness, them there's a LOT of other bands that sound like it, like Staind...
