i think this song is about a girl that completely loves this guy, but he runs and it hurts her. he always comes back, though, so she feels like theres something between them. she wants him to commit, but can't bring herself to ask it of him, fearing he might never come back, so she just let him keep up the whole love/ hurt cycle within her while he remains indifferent. or it could be that i just see it that way cause it's kinda happening to me right now.
