This song to me is about a guy in a relationship Who is tired of his girlfriend crying over an ex boyfriend she has not yet gotten over. He thought that she would get over him a while ago but it hasnt happened (im sick of all wasted years) (A rag for someone elses tears) The gf crying over her ex. So he wants to take a break and maybe it'll be better after they have seperated. (And Ill see you when i get back maybe we could get ourselves back on the right track). but he is not positive that thier relationship can go on until she gets over her ex.
