This song is lovely, it's a shame it's not included in any of Robbie's albums (I guess it didn't fit any of them). It's so full of melancholy, it seems like Rob is reminiscing of his younger years and the simplest things in life, like old friendships before they got wrong or spoiled. Being funny, being easy, not caring about anything but enjoying the moment and the weather...feeling like giving and getting anything from it. "What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine..."
Rob's voice in here illustrates the feeling so perfectly. He seems to be daydreaming about this time of his life. I used to love to listen to this song when being so busy and longing for that magical time of the year...which never comes back the same, and it's nothing like we lived before. But still, you need something to make you carry on...and it might be just hoping...or remembering a summertime.
"And if your love has met it's sad refrain
Believe me you will love again..."
