This song is called "Ugly Love", but it still moves something inside of me. It has got a lot of (I think) random names and comparisons but the message I get in the end is how Robbie was touched by someone who ended up letting him down. How much he hates that person but can't help but feel her as an important part of his past, to the extent of inspiring a song. He seems to be talking about someone who shared his enviroment and drug habits, maybe an actress or a singer, but I don't know who.
Maybe it's the way he sings it...but I don't believe him when he says he doesn't care...I think he's just being angry and rude because he's being so hurt. And I can relate to that feeling of being mad of someone from moving on like nothing had happened, it makes me despise love itself...but the truth is that I've been let down and heartbroken.
