i personally take the 'shadows on the wall' as a sexual reference and that the relationship for the women has become too much of a 'sex' thing rather than love. 'you blame is at the cause/of the shadows on the wall'. in my opinion it seems like the man realises hes taken advantage/not loved her 'I sink so low that I even blame the clouds/for blocking out the sun' (sun being the image of love) and is trying to reassure the woman that she will find someone its just that he doesn't love her 'and i don't belong at all' and that the season of the shark in life is when people make mistakes, and regret, and then learn from their experiences so they can move on to another season. yahh deep. haha.
