Seems some of Ani's songs/poems have a bad habit of bringing me to tears, this is one of them. Well, actually, it's not a bad thing at all :) Along with 'Animal', this is probably my favorite track on 'Educated Guess'.
Such powerful words about how the struggle for, as she puts it 'the better good' has been worth something and is worth continuing. If you aren't moved by lines like 'a raging river of tears cut a grand canyon of light', I don't know what it would take to move you.
