I agree with you deathcab, I feel this song (along with half their songs) have to do with a sadness caused by the absence of a lady friend. I like how he timelines his tour and picks up a happier note when he says
"and I will see you again..."
unfourtunatly from all his other sings we know how this relationship ends...how said :(
also, I would like to commend the acoustics in all his works, they make my free time more joyous.
