My friend loves lene and when i heard the lyrics about flying on borrowed wings and the sun in front sea behind i instantly thought of icarus, how he flew too high, the sun melted the way on his fake wings and he fell to his death in the sea and life for everyone else carried on, kind of cold and without care.
So perhaps this song is an allusion to that, how cold life is and the pain ambition can bring, or perhaps the aspiration to fly beyond this world.
