this is my favorite punkins song...for sentimental reasons mostly. i do feel it is about elusive sleep, as well as the pain of unrequited love and the resulting lonliness. have you ever been involved with someone, but in love with another? another who did not return your affections? meanwhile, the one you're with adores you much the same as you adore the other? ouch.
