Basically, it's about some guy (let's call him Frank) who had consensual sex with a girl (let's call her Thelma). It just so turns out that Thelma had herpes, therefore "taking the prison to" Frank, as herpes is an untreatable disease - a prison you can't escape.
So he blames her for acting like an "instrument of seduction" and making him want to flood her gates in the first place.
