Possibily my fav anathema song, i'm sure it's a cover song though? It's still very fantastic, especially the spoken word introduction at the beggining!
The obvious meaning of this sound seems to be about things changing over time but his ideas and principals remaining and he percieves the new ideas of these days which aren't really the time he feels he belongs in.
