whoops. that was just my opinion of the song. as for analyzation. one of the general misconceptions on this song is the interpreted meaning of "but mother never danced through fire shower" (and btw, it says bet above). most people think this is just spitefulness towards a mother who does not know what she is talking about. It is actually referring to a gunfight, where fire shower is the rain of bullets that one is dancing in. This whole song can easily be interpreted as a gunfight. "if there is a hell, im sure this is how it smells." This can be veiwed as the smell of gunpowder and the smoke from "smokeless" gunpowder, which has a sulfurous scent. Hell is also said to have burning pits of sulfur (eh, eh, see the connection?). The rest of the lyrics can be applied to the hysteria one feels once they have been shot or are soon to be shot and are fearing death
